Playcore was a Web3 gaming analytics platform under the BreederDAO (now Sovrun) ecosystem. It centralized on-chain and off-chain game data into a single hub, covering analytics, simulations, and strategic insights across major blockchain games. The platform was built for players, guilds, and ecosystem participants to make data-informed decisions.

About the work
Challenge
Web3 gaming generates massive amounts of data spread across chains, games, and marketplaces, and none of it was designed to be read by humans. The core problem was translation: how do you take complex, fragmented datasets and make them useful to both a first-time player and a seasoned guild operator? The existing landscape offered raw dashboards and spreadsheets. Nothing felt like a product.
Approach
I led design from zero to one. That meant building the information architecture from scratch, deciding what data matters, how it's grouped, and how users move through it at different skill levels. I designed the interaction patterns to handle density without overwhelming: progressive disclosure, contextual layering, and visual hierarchy that lets beginners scan while advanced users dig deep. I worked directly with engineering and data science to ensure every UI component accurately reflected the underlying metrics, not cosmetic dashboards. The visual direction was built to feel immersive and game-native, not like a generic analytics tool.
Outcome
Playcore shipped as a functional analytics hub within the BreederDAO ecosystem, serving players and guilds across multiple blockchain games. It translated raw Web3 data into an accessible, engaging product that supported real decision-making, earning 50,000 users at its peak (6 months post-launch). The platform was sunset in January 2025.
